This policy explains what happens to data when you use FreeTool.site. The short version: there are no accounts, no sign-up, and the two on-site tools process everything in your browser.
Like most web servers, this site keeps access logs. For each request they record the IP address, the browser user agent, the referring page, the requested URL, and the time. These logs are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse, and they are retained for a limited period before being rotated out.
There is no account system, no newsletter, and no contact database. If you email us, your message and address exist in our mailbox and are used only to reply.
The password generator and the JSON formatter run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Passwords you generate and JSON you paste are never transmitted to this server. Closing the tab discards them.
This site may display advertising served by third-party ad networks, including Google. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Ad networks operate under their own privacy policies. This site does not receive the personal data those networks collect.
Outbound links may be affiliate links. When you click one, the vendor or its affiliate network may set a cookie to attribute the referral. That cookie is controlled by them; see the affiliate disclosure for details.
If analytics are enabled, they are configured to avoid collecting personal information and are used only in aggregate — page views, referrers, country and device type.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data held about you, to object to processing, or to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because this site holds almost no personal data, most requests concern server logs or email correspondence. Send requests to contact@freetool.site and they will be answered within 30 days.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of the page will change with it. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
